Holy are the Broken
“The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy” Psalm 103:8
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life… nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God”
Romans 8: 38-39

Take it from someone who used to actively mock Christianity. Doubt doesn’t disqualify. He is waiting for you, he wants to know you and show you his love and mercy.
On my journey to God I have learned quite a bit. One of the most fascinating things I have seen though; is every other religion has explained what you must do, where the bible simply explains what God has done for you.
Most people tend to overcomplicate it because it IS that easy.
| Verse | Meaning |
| John 19:30 “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, it is finished: and he bowed his head and gave up the ghost.” | Jesus says it is finished. The saving work has been completed. |
| Hebrews 10:12 “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God.” | One sacrifice once and for all – nothing more needs to be done. |
| Hebrews 9:12 “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” | Obtained is past tense, it means its already done |
| Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace ye are saved through faith… not of works… not of yourselves” | Salvation is done not earned |
| Hebrews 10:14 “For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.” | Perfected shows that its complete, it’s done where sanctified is made holy. We are already made holy. |
| 1 Corinthians 6:11 “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly… Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.” | He made us holy, we didn’t do that. Once we accept it is when the works happen |
| Romans 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” | God sees what Jesus has done for us, not what we do as long as we have faith. |
| Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.” | Jesus was condemned in our behalf. |
| 2 Corinthians 5:17 “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…” | We are considered new because of Jesus. |
| 2 Corinthians 5:21 “For he hath made hm to be sin for us… that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” | We receive his righteousness, not our own. |
Now, it also says in the bible that God can’t lie.. so why would he say we are made holy and righteous even if we sin so often? Maybe because what we do has nothing compared to what HE did.
